Description:

It is a spin-off of the main series, and is a social simulation game developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game features a Ditto that can transform into a human, helping to develop the post-apocalyptic setting that surrounds them, and aiding Pokémon they encounter along the way.There will be a 3-part Paid DLC. The first part, called Bubbly Basin, an underwater explorable town will release in August 2026.

The game was designed by Pokémon Scarlet and Violet director, Shigeru Ohmori, who envisioned how fans would love to have the opportunity to create their own Pokémon habitats. The reason why Developer Game Freak teamed up with Omega Force is because of its sandbox game experience, namely Dragon Quest Builders 2. It was released internationally on 5th March 2026.

As the player upgrades the area surrounding his or her Ditto, more Pokémon will appear to befriend the Ditto and learn new moves for use in the game. The more the player upgrades the area around his or her Ditto, the more Pokémon that will join him or her as a friend and teach him or her a new move. These Pokémon can help Ditto develop the ecosystem that it lives in and communicate with other Pokémon.

Different habitat requirements will determine the appearance of each Pokémon, for example, by planting grass under a tree or putting a punching bag by a bench. It also has a day and night cycle based on real-world time, and different biomes. A later update also adds the ability to dive underwater to get access to some areas of the map otherwise inaccessible, including new aquatic-themed Pokémon and furniture.

• Shapeshifting Ditto Mechanics: As you are a Ditto, you learn the useful moves of other Pokémon (Water Gun to water, Cut to clear trees, Rock Smash for debris) and use them to heal the environment.
• Habitat Building & Customization: Over 300 different Pokémon appear as you build and customize habitats using prefabricated kits or building them block by block.
