The crossbow is powerful, but has a long reload time. You can pet the dog when it sometimes digs out additional items for you. Each of the Gungeoners has their strong and weak points, but all of them are playable and can utilise Gungeon’s myriad weapons. You can use the weapons you discover in chests throughout the Gungeon in satisfying and fun ways; from the baseball bat to hit back bullets to a gun riding a skateboard, every weapon is unique, incredibly creative, and has well-written descriptions in the game’s Ammonomicon. You can play as a bullet, using a shotgun that shoots bullets. What more could you want?

• A Massive Arsenal: Hundreds of unique weapons and items that range from conventional guns to funny and absurd (think rocket launcher, T-shirt cannon, or bees).
• Local Co-op: This allows the dungeon to be played in 2-player local co-op, with one player controlling the Cultist.
