DOOM NSP Similar to its predecessor Eternal is built on an id Software concept known as ‘push forward combat’. While most other first-person shooters are best played by keeping your distance, attacking only when the enemy is exposed and (in some cases) taking cover to replenish your health, DOOM Eternal actively encourages the player to run straight towards the enemy, all guns blazing. which makes them drop a rainbow of ammo. This way, if you are short on ammunition and no ammunition is available.

In this game, health will not regenerate automatically and there is little health to be picked up. So, the best health restoration techniques are getting rid of the enemy until they’re almost dead – at which point they will stagger around flatting you – and then running up to them and pushing into the right stick to perform a ‘glory kill’ which is a grimy execution move where you’ll also pick up some health. Similarly.

Gameplay:

Throughout the campaign, you will find all sorts of upgrades and new abilities added to the combat so as to keep things fresh. With a few upgrade points you can eventually make your shotgun use grenades or fire flames at your enemies, and after a handful of upgrades, you’ll have a new attachment added to your growing arsenal of weaponry which will convert your machine gun to a grenade launcher.

The sequel has a greater emphasis on movement, too. Much of the time you are in epic battle with hordes of demons, when a section is cleared you still need to traverse to the next section and DOOM Eternal tries to make that interesting by opening sections up and forcing you to get active. You have two jumps and later a rush to the ground that you can score: combine.
