Morkull Ragast is not a fun and finished game, despite his desire to be Hollow Knight. It’s not fair to be so hard on a new game in a new studio. This is obviously affectionate toward the genres it’s playing in, and the hand-drawn art style is good and worth looking at for other games. The Rage’s game systems, metafictional elements, and overall presentation, however, were far too lacking in polish and were mediocre for me to be anything but angry at the Rage, and not in the way I think the game’s developers intended.

A 2D platform/action/exploration game where Morkull, God of death and darkness, lord of the Ragast, the main character, can talk to the player in a variety of ways, thanks to the breaking of the fourth wall in the game’s mechanics. Morkull Ragast’s Rage is a 2D video game with elements of platforming, action, and exploration.

Morkull Ragast’s Rage is entirely drawn and hand-animated, frame-by-frame. The style is old-school with influences and inspirations from traditional animated movies and other 2D video games, bringing life and fluidity of movement to the entire cast o f characters. The thing that makes this game special is Morkull himself, his personality,y and his ability to break the fourth wall and communicate with the players if he were in the room.

You’ll have all the power of the God of Death and Darkness at your fingertips, of course, along with an ample selection of combos and abilities that will open up even the most remote corners of the Ragast. • In “Fourth-Wall Breaking Comedy: Morkull,” Morkull fully realizes that he’s imprisoned in a video game. He regularly breaks the fourth wall (addresses you, the player, and the developers directly) and is very humorous, like Deadpool.
• Hand-Drawn Animation: The entire world and characters of the game are hand-drawn and animated frame-by-frame, so that it has the fluid and cinematic feel of a real movie.
• Combo-Heavy Combat: You have the powers of the God of Death and Darkness and can perform several light and heavy attacks. As you progress, you can unlock new combos, defence parries, and combat skills on a skill tree.
• The world of Ragast is a sprawling, interconnected map with the purpose of exploration. You will experience difficult challenges in the environment and unlock new areas with unlocking powers.
• Action-Adventure Progression: find random pieces to boost stats (healing flasks), hack and slash lots of enemies, of all types, and experience more intense boss battles.
