Tokimeki Memorial: Forever With You Emotional is an updated version of Tokimeki Memorial: Forever With You that has been developed and released by Konami. The game will be available on the Nintendo Switch exclusively in Japan on 8th May 2025.An exact release date was not mentioned, but it is confirmed to be released in Japan sometime next year. Not much is known about whether or not an English localization is in the works, but it seems highly improbable that it will happen as the trailer was not in the western Direct.

But it’s at almost all Nintendo Directs that there are several announcements that are exclusive to the Japanese version of the show, and this was no different. The remake of a 1995 romance visual novel from Konami, Tokimeki Memorial: forever with you Emotional, is announced for Nintendo Switch.

Gameplay:

The Nintendo Switch software of “Tokimeki Memorial ~forever with you~ Emotional” (hereafter, TokiMemo Emotional) was released for the Nintendo Switch on Thursday, May 8, 2025, via the Nintendo eShop.In addition to the standard and deluxe editions, a 30th-anniversary CD BOX was also released, and a live concert will be held on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, 2025.

As a part of the 30th-anniversary memorial year, a number of projects took place, drawing on memories of Tokimeki Memorial with fans.This culminated in Thursday 8th May 2025 with the release of “TokiMemo Emotional”.It is a remaster of “Tokimeki Memorial ~forever with you~” in which the same ambiance and gameplay are meticulously retained, in keeping with the idea of “Enjoying memories as they are on Nintendo Switch”.
