Gameplay:

Set in the Netherworld’s most recent vice – pudding – Disgaea Mayhem takes players headfirst into the series’ trademark humor and absurdity with a richly detailed story. This is the tale of N.A., a battle-hardened mercenary who is contracted with a princess whose dessert has been stolen by a horde of monsters. This is just a retrieval mission that quickly turns into a full-blown Netherland.

There’s a power struggle here, complete with political games, demonic recruitment drives, and the game’s first-ever Magichange mechanic, in which allies can morph into weapons for devastating combo attacks. A major component of the game is the Dark Chocolate Assembly—a group of demonic bureaucrats that will force players to hop through its labyrinthine bills and decrees to unlock abilities and further the plot.
