The enemies are a rather silly bunch, with a gang of hot dogs running around, and mailboxes shooting letters at our heroes. The characters look like an individual cut out a bunch of characters from a piece of paper and pasted them on a background,w withno dept a nd the characters run in a 2D fashion, like the Paper Mario series of games. This is a fine idea, and complements the style of the game.

Gameplay:

The gameplay is also very familiar to fans of Mario, with several small references to the Nintendo universe apparent. To defeat an enemy, for instance, you have to jump on their heads. This does not kill them, however, but merely stuns them for a short time, before they shake it off and get on with what they were doing anyway. It sounds a bit weird at first,n ot being able to run off-the-mill enemies, but Dog Man obviously works on the same principles as Batman, so we’ll let’s pass.

A supa bad guy has acquired the key to the city, opening every prison door and letting out numerous evil people. Join the chase of Help Dog Man and his pals to go on their most impawsible mission ever with the supa bad guys! Alternate between Dog Man and his Supa Buddies and the specific powers and gadgets, etc., like Rocket Boots, retractable Claws, actable Claws, and Dirt Proof Pants. Together you can overcome challenging obstacles and defeat powerful bosses.
