Would a turn-based strategy/puzzle game exclusively for PC, with Lego-ish miniaturizations of Godzilla and other monsters,s be seen in Godzilla Voxel Wars? This is a weird thing, but I think it’s out of nowhere and pretty close to being cool. I didn’t even realize that Toho, the legendary Japanese stud Iio, was behind it.

GojiBoku (ゴジボク) is short for Godzilla Voxel Wars (ゴジラ ボクセルウォーズ Gojira Bokuseru Wōzu), a 2023 Japanese single-player turn-based strategy game, developed by Nukenin LLC and published by TOHO Games.

Set in six worlds of 20 grid-based stages, the game has an original story about an infestation of alien mushrooms known as fungoids.

Key Features: Tactic Turn-Based

• d Combat: The players have a limited number of turns to clear the enemy monsters and buildings that are infected with fungi within an 8×8 “maze. One Attack and one Action per turn for each monster.
• Unique Kaiju Abilities: Each monster has its own specific tactical roles, movement distances, and attack patterns (e.g., Godzilla will inflict heavy direct knockback damage while Rodn will be able to fly long distances and attack by pushing enemies into obstacles).
• Building & Summoning Mechanics: Colored icons and tokens from infected buildings will be given to summon friendly kaiju allies to your squad.
• Deep Campaign & Difficulty Modes: The game has six worlds, with standard levels and harder boss fights. Once beaten, an area may be accessed with a darker colored version of the boards for higher optimization challenges.
