Now, Lovekami: Useless Goddess is available on the console hybrid, and with it comes all of the comedic hijinks and random outings of these characters. I wouldn’t say that I want to play through it again, but the series is still a decent comedic and well thought out visual novel.Lovekami: Useless Goddess presents our unnamed face-less Sho as he becomes entangled with a group of girls.

One of them is the Aragmi goddess, Akane Tsubaki, who possesses some electrical abilities. Akane is hungry and is the cause of some of the blackouts in town. To help her out is Kamiki Inori, a very calm Goddess law-abiding most of the time, but she’s also rather clumsy and not always correct. Then there’s the tsundere childhood friend and landlady Kunugi Maika, who also lends her assistance to helping Akane.

Gameplay:

Every girl has a role in the story, they are also romanceable. The story is relatively fluffy, but does try for an emotional end, as Akane reveals more and more of her reasons for being unable to control her powers. It won’t take your breath away, but it will keep players engaged in the story and the romance between the characters. The whole story has been about Akane’s rehabilitation and it’s a very nice pacing direction. Akane is extremely stubborn and only thinks about herself. It’s convenient for the writers to demonstrate the character development, but it’s more than one could ever wish for in a comedic eroge. Unfortunately, not every route is the same and Inori is in a mess due to that. I’d’ve loved the three routes to be even for a game that already is a visual novel.
