Description:

Greak: Memories of Azur is a 2D side-scroller action metroidvania game for the Nintendo Switch. The game is played as a boy named Greak who lives in the world of the game of Azur, where a peculiar pollution is spreading and people have been helplessly fighting against it. Prior to the game, Greak’s family has been split apart, his sister kidnapped and in need of rescue, and his older brother is missing, searching for artifacts to help deter the pollution. So it’s not a good day either.

Memories of Azur NSP Gameplay:

The game starts with Greak having a strange dream, telling him the location his sister is being held captive and telling him to go rescue her. On the way, he promptly falls down a waterfall, not the best start for a rescue mission if I may say so. He receives medical treatment, then embarks on a search for his sister and helping to evacuate the village, collecting supplies. It’s pretty straightforward to play here. Greak has the ability to run, double jump, dash, and swing his sword. He can swim (but not very far). The gameplay is very simple and hardly any words can be said about that.

Memories of Azur NSP Features:

• The Agile Youngest: High agility, quick swordplay, bow for ranged attacks, double jump and small build so he can crawl into narrow burrows).
• Adara The Sorceress: Can levitate and float over long distances, throw magical arcane ranged attacks, and hold her breath under water longer than her brothers.
• Strong physical defense: can use a sword and shield to block projectiles or lasers from attackers and can shoot a grappling hook. But he’s too fat to swim and he’ll drown immediately if he gets in deep water.
