Sugardew Island Some games I like to get lost in include farming games and cozy games, and this is one of them. Usually, between major releases, I’ll return to Story of Seasons, Coral Island, Rune Factory,y or now Fields of Mistria. I have been playing this genre since I was a kid, hence the many new producers that are trying to create a new “Stardew Valley” or a relaxation game with no winners or losers, just a bunch of happy little plants in a happy little garden!

It was that I wanted to read it next, and there are bits of it that I’m sure I’ll want to return to later. After all, these games are my happy place, which still occupies a very high spot in this genre (and was never the ‘must have’ or enough to drag me away with a lot of recent games that offered just as much or even more unique experiences). Therein lies the problem. This is an interesting Sugardew Island loop,p but I don’t have a loop to say otherwise that begs to be played over other games in the genre. At hour 10 you should know what to do quite well, ll and by hour 20 you’ll know it all.

Gameplay:

The watering can is never empty, so we do not need to repeatedly fill up the watering can at the well. It’s also made easier to feed the animals; rather than holding out food to a specific animal, we can place it in a central location and feed a group of animals at one time, one-button-at-a-time. These are all good facilities which help to make farming an enjoyable way of life. The growing and harvesting have also been updated. One of the most useful functions is the ability to cultivate multiple fields at once: pressing the button will cause multiple fields (up to 9) to grow 9) with seeds/fertilizer simultaneously.

This means beds are made much quicker than in other farm games. However, there is a small stumbling block here: the control of the target crosshair is a bit too sensitive, which means that you sometimes accidentally hit the wrong field. The sales system is an interesting but not necessarily helpful element to consider: We don’t just dump the harvest in the box and expect to be rewarded the following morning – we have a little farmer’s shop and the nature spirits are our customers. They randomly select a couple of products – sometimes they need to be tempted with discounts or guidance.

Key Features:

• Quality of Life: Watering can has infinite water and all storage chests are direct to the crafting workbench.
• Farm animals: There are many different types of farm animals (such as cows and chickens) to be unlocked inside the meadow area.
• Livestock: The reason is that feeding them wheat and petting them unlocks resources such as milk and eggs.
• Pets: Upgrade your house with a pet bed, and pets will be able to join you around your farm.
