You’ll be skateboarding your way through cute and grossly unladylike critters, kicking, flipping, grinding, and even shooting them in the head in a boat; this skateboarding boat technique is the main action of the game, and it’s a perfect game for something like Tony Hawk Pro Skater. By utilizing your controller’s face buttons and triggers, you can pull off a variety of tricks which you’ll use to chain combos and gain points. While there are plenty of point-based goals that will earn you in-game cash that you can use for your character or boat.

Some of the goals are location-based and will involve exploring the venue you are in. If you want to hear about the primary control method and some general advice on playing, then you won’t get it here. Wave Break is more like an arcade game than you’d like it to be, but if it doesn’t appeal to you, then it will certainly get there.
