This is because in each level, the colours produced are mostly alike.

The game was billed as a meditation experience, a journey of exploration through the manipulation of wind currents to solve environmental puzzles and to discover a story that was rich in folklore and environmental concerns. But though the first impression is undoubtedly appealing, a closer look at this game shows that much of it is repetitive, the plot is confusing and the overall polish is lacking. This review will explore the different elements of “Wind Story,” examining its strengths and weaknesses to finally determine whether or not it lives up to its lofty goals or is just a puff of wind.

Whilst specific finds can prove easy to miss unless you’re paying full attention mostly due to only the odd corner of an item sticking out from behind an environmental object, there is the option to use the aforementioned hint feature to start a countdown for a surprisingly long three-minute timer which gives away the next items exact location once it reaches zero. With no limit on the number of times you can use this feature, you could essentially complete the entire game with this if you so desired – although you’d definitely ruin the fun of a good search.
